How It All Started
Decades ago, an extraordinary dreamer and artisan Ashok Kumar Gupta wandered the lanes of his Bhadohi village and recognized something remarkable in the hands around him. He saw, villagers whose fingers moved with innate grace, coaxing brilliant motifs from coarse wool. Inspired, he brought these artisans together under one humble roof, and their designs and craftsmanship wove through the region like threads on a carpet—vibrant, intricate, and alive with India’s heritage. Before long, their creations became a global sensation, gracing distant homes and giving the community more than just recognition steady work, renewed pride, and a shared happiness born from turning a simple dream into something breathtaking.
Today, his son Vishal Gupta carries that dream forward with fresh passion and purpose. He has breathed new life into the age‑old techniques, blending luxurious craftsmanship with modern sensibilities to offer every decor‑loving home in India a piece of this living tradition. Under his gentle guidance, each hand‑tufted rug becomes more than a floor covering—it becomes a canvas of culture and care, bringing warmth, beauty, and the spirit of Bhadohi into homes across the land.
The Founder
In the heart of Bhadohi, where looms hum like ancient hymns and the air tastes of hand‑mixed dyes, Vishal Gupta first discovered his calling. As a boy, he would steal away to his grandparents’ workshop, eyes wide at the cascade of colors unfurling beneath their skilled fingers. He memorized every knot and sketch, tracing secret patterns on scrap paper by lantern light. Those early evenings—alive with monsoon winds and whispered family lore—ignited in him a single conviction: that the soul of his community belonged beneath every footstep and within every home.
